| FUJIMOTO FUU | Easy, Easy, Pull out the Heart to make the being Alone, Easy, Easy. | Fufu || Female || Pansexual || 17 |
APPEARANCE
A young girl of many charms, Fuu holds the appearance of a woman much more mature than her true age. She can as easily blend into a high functioning charity event or a dance club for adults as easily as she does at her school. Fuu is more than capable of appearing as an adult or a teenager, and she is very aware of this. The girl often wears clothing depending on which she decides to appear as. No matter the age she tries to portray, one thing is certain: Fuu has a high class taste in her fashion. All of her clothing is exquisite and expensive. Her thick back hair is almost always styled perfectly, as if done by professionals. Just by looking at the girl one can tell she is from a well off family. Whether it's from the graceful manner in which she carries herself or the way her gaze can shift from gentle to frightening while still remaining lady life, one knows this is a girl who was raised within the world of adults.
PERSONALITY
One could describe Fuu as a gentle storm. Her voice never raises beyond a soft speaking tone, but despite her voice being soft, there is no hesitance within her words. She speaks firmly and with purpose. Fuu doesn't waste words. If she doesn't have to say it, she wont. When she does speak, Fuu's words are thoughtful and hyper focused for the conversation. Everything is carefully thought out and said with precision. She isn't the type to just blurt out what's on her mind, that's for sure. Even if she's extremely upset at someone, her voice will never raise. Fuu public speaking skills are second to none. She can handle a crowd with ease, utilizing her charm to her advantage.
Needless to say, Fuu is very intelligent. The girl's mind seems to always be working. She can see situations from various possible angles and is more than capable of considering the fancy of others in her plans. Fuu hates to be caught off guard. She'll think through every possible aspect of any plans or interactions she creates. Over all, the girl is very guarded in nearly every aspect of her life. One can never be sure if they're speaking to a carefully pieced together personality or the true Fuu. Most aren't even aware that she wears various personas, masks if you will, to hide her true feelings.
For every aspect of her social life, Fuu has a different tactic for dealing with them. At school, she's a gentle and cheerful girl who may be a bit naive. This Fuu never lets herself get down, and she's very sheltered. School Fuu has been carefully designed as sheltered with overbearing parents to avoid people trying to communicate with her outside of school. At her home and when with her family, Fuu becomes a much more quiet and mature young girl. She doesn't speak much, mostly only when she's spoken to. This Fuu is considered the perfect daughter: thoughtful, respectful and obedient. Fuu's various other personas include the enigma of an artist known as 'Fuji' that has been recently sparking fires in the art world, a hip young woman who frequents clubs and adult events, and the charming socialite whom attends charities in place of her parents.
Fuu handles the supernatural aspects of her life with just as much poise and thoughtfulness as the rest of her life. She openly states that she simply dislikes the trouble caused by Hollows when she ignores them and eradicates any she comes across at her leisure. However, she does seem to have a certain ruthlessness to how she attacks them. Fuu isn't against using her powers for her own gain, but she isn't very fond of others knowing her tricks. When it comes to other supernatural beings, she'd rather not get involved with them if she can help it. This includes other Fullbringers. Fuu has long since learned that introducing them into her life brings nothing but trouble.
While Fuu may always seem in control of the situations around her, she does have a fatal flaw. Her pride is is so grand that the girl would rather allow her life to be taken than admit a mistake. When confronted with a possible issue she can't handle, Fuu will deny her inability to deal with it alone. Over all, her life has made her somewhat jaded when it comes to trusting others. Fuu also seems to have a somewhat lofty view on life. Considering her family, she has never had to truly work hard for someone. So, one could argue that she's somewhat spoiled and lazy. While she's more than capable of thinking through everything, whether she does it or not is usually depending on her mood.
HISTORY
Brief History: Born in Japan, Fuu was raised in the United States until a year ago. Her father is one of the wealthiest men in both Japan and the States, making Fuu beyond a trust fund baby. She and four generations of her grandchildren could live in luxury without ever having to lift a finger. Recently, her mother moved them back to Japan on a whim to try and 'get in touch with their roots.' Being raised as a young heiress rather than a daughter, Fuu didn't seem to care. Over all, the girl's life has been unremarkable to most with the exception of her family's wealth. Unknown to most, Fuu's night life has been riddled with the supernatural since she was a child. Various events happened, many leading to how jaded and defensive the girl is. Only those from New York know all her secrets and history prior to returning to Japan. Neither of her parents, nor her siblings, are aware of her talents or hidden life.
Full History: Fuu's mother was a beautiful woman. She was elegant, and her voice was like that of an angel's. The woman, Fuyuki, was a stage actress known throughout the theater world as a legendary song bird. Her father was the young, wealthy and handsome heir to one of Japan's largest corporations who had met her at a charity, and once two of Japan's most eligible single people got together, the media went into an uprising over their personal life. Everyone said it was like a fairy tale. However, one man thought it was a nightmare rather than some dream. In an attempt to “win back the love of his life”, a love who had never even met him, he attacked the couple at a public event. He was killed when a police officer shot him. Luckily, Fuyuki and Fuu's mother, Shuu, were unscathed. However, that wasn't the end of their troubles.
A month later, Fuyuki and Shuu became husband and wife. Two months after that, Fuyuki became pregnant. Meanwhile, Shuu took over his father's company, officially becoming the owner of it. There wasn't a single newspaper that didn't run the story of the power couple's recent developments. However, the press weren't the only ones watching them. The man whom had attacked them, while deceased, still had a bone to pick. How dare the love of his life have a child with another man! Soon after the announcement of the pregnancy, strange things began happening within the Fujimoto home. Things moved and occasionally, voices and noises would be heard. Slowly this escalated until finally, Fuyuki was attacked in their home. By the time police got there, she was bleeding heavily and stammering in shock from blood loss. Fuyuki could be heard stammering about a monster, but it was taken as a delusion of an injured woman.
Luckily, Fuyuki did survive, and the child in her belly didn't seem harmed. Her memories of the night were also very foggy. Shuu would move the family out to the country side, trying to get away from the public and the attacker who was still at large. Fuu was born out there in a small private hospital. The first two or so years of her life were relatively quiet, with the girl mostly seeing her mother as her father often stayed in the city for work. Eventually, the family decided to move back to their city home, the one Fuyuki had been attacked in. Fuyuki was tired of never seeing her husband, and she wanted Fuu to see more of him as well. So, despite her uncertainty in returning to the house, she went. Once again, strange things occurred. Soon, the pattern repeated itself, but there was one major change this time.
Fuyuki didn't survive this time. Most believed the woman killed herself from a mixture of an 'unhappy marriage', her early retirement from the theater and maybe mental illness. However, none of this was true. Fuyuki and Shuu had a loving relationship. Fuyuki hadn't retired from theater, she had decided to go on a hiatus to raise Fuu, and she wasn't mentally ill. No, while most thought she had leaped from the roof of their three story home, the woman was pushed. Only the small Fuu, who had been found in her arms, knew the truth. While the world reeled at the supposed attempt to kill herself and her child, the little girl had seen the monster chasing her mother. Fuyuki had jumped from the roof, taking the impact from the fall for the most part, to try and save Fuu from the spirit chasing them. Of course, nobody believe the young girl who was also still badly shaken.
After this, the house was sold. The only things kept were old antiques from the Fujimoto family that went into storage. Fuu began to be cared for by an American nanny while her father threw himself into his work to avoid the pain from losing his wife. Over the next year, Fuu watched her father slowly fall apart as he refused to properly mourn. It wasn't until the nanny, Maria, intervened that he got better. Shuu found his second wind in the woman's smile. He felt the same graceful smile Fuyuki had given him from her. Steadily, the family rebuilt itself. When Fuu was five, Shuu married Maria. Shortly after that, the family moved to America as Shuu's company expanded their foreign branches. He needed to be there as they became more and more influential. So, they left to New York, taking only some of the old antiques at Maria's request.
Maria was a grateful woman. She was thankful for everything she had, and she loved Fuu. Part of the reason she wanted to bring some of the antiques were because Maria wanted some traditional Japanese items around the house so the girl wouldn't lose touch of her heritage. She had also heard that Fuyuki adored them. Shortly after they left for America, Maria became pregnant. As they settled into the new house, Fuu helped them decorate the room where the baby would eventually be staying. It was during these days when the young girl noticed something strange. The wardrobe they had brought from Japan, the door kept opening. Fuu would walk into the room and often see it open.. and sometimes, the girl swore there was something inside it. Maria, not wanting to frighten Fuu, moved the wardrobe to the attic.
As the pregnancy went on, Fuu began to notice more things around the house, but she never mentioned any of them. After the first few times she brought them up, her father got upset and lashed out at her. So, she kept silent. In an attempt to keep Fuu busy and away from the house because of her words, Shuu signed her up for several after school programs. As such, Fuu spent a lot less time at the house. It was around this time that Shuu began to realize he needed to begin treating his daughter like the heir to the Fujimoto family- which she was. As such, Fuu's schedule became more restrictive, and the girl's play time was soon filled with private lessons on various subjects. Fuu disliked this change in her schedule, but the girl couldn't really argue. Despite how busy she was now, she was happy to be out of the house. The place creeped her out sometimes... but then again, everything was spooky these days. Fuu kept seeing more and more strange things, and the five year old wasn't sure what to make of any of it. So, she kept her head down and hoped it'd go away.
Finally, on a hot August day, Maria gave birth. Surprisingly, she had given birth to twins. Fuu gained two lovely younger brothers, and the girl found herself often watching them in their cribs. They were both so pretty with both American and Japanese features. She was somewhat jealous. Why couldn't she have been born with lightly colored hair? Fuu would always try to shake the jealousy out of her head, but the girl couldn't help it. After all, these were the children of her father and Maria. They were the true children of the couple. No matter how nice Maria was, Fuu was only a step daughter. This continued as the girl grew older. Still, despite her jealousy, Fuu did love the twins and often enjoyed playing the role of doting big sister when she got the chance.
However, as she got older, her life got busier. Fuu's schedule got more and more things added to it until the girl was barely home except to eat dinner and sleep. Soon, she forgot what free time was like. The six year old's life was more hectic and busy than most adults'. Then, one day, one of her tutors for music went on maternity leave, and the girl had free time for a month or so. Fuu was dedicated to spending this time wisely by watching and reading whatever she had missed. While her classmates had all been raging on about a book series known as Porry Hatter, she hadn't had the time to read it. As she read about the supernatural world of witches and wizards, Fuu slowly began to realize something. She had mysterious things happen at her house all the time! She always saw un-explainable things! Fuu convinced herself that she was a wizard, and that on her eleventh birthday, she'd get a letter from Horsewarts.
To 'prepare' herself for her obvious future in magic, Fuu even bought a magician's wand! However, when her father saw the girl's room- now covered in strange 'magical' scribbles from her books and playing wit ha wand, he was furious. Did she really have time to play around with this kind of stuff!? He'd confiscate the books and throw them in the trash- along with the wand. Fuu watched him snap the wand in half and shove it into their trash bins. Later that night, she'd go and dig it out of the garbage. Fuu would hide it in her room, clinging to her dreams of learning magic at a school far from her family.
Slowly, the years would pass. Fuu moved like a machine from class to class with the occasional social event in between. Meanwhile, the strangeness around her constantly became more unusual. She had long since gotten use to the spirits in her daily life. The girl even had a routine of sorts. Fuu would try to ignore them, but on the off chance she noticed them due to them sometimes being indistinguishable from normal humans, Fuu would simply avoid going to where they usually roamed. She didn't want to be involved with them at all. After all, the girl still remembered what happened to her mother. Besides, Fuu was too busy to get involved with ghostly business. She had to prepare for her letter of acceptance to whichever magical school she'd be going to.
Fuu's eleventh birthday came and passed. The girl clung to the hope that the letter would arrive any day now, but when the school year started, her hopes were dashed. The letter always came during their eleventh year before the school year begun. Did this mean that... Fuu wasn't special? Was she just weird? The young girl would hide in her room all night on the even of her first day of school, staring at the supposed magical wand that had been broken in half. Crying, Fuu clutched the wand tightly. Just as she was about to give up, something would happen. Looking down, she saw that the wand was no longer snapped in half. It was back into it's pristine shape! The girl stared in awe. Maybe she really was a magician! Maybe there wasn't an American Horsewarts? Or there was some kind of mistake!? The young girl convinced herself that next year the letter would come, inviting her to transfer.
In the meanwhile, Fuu was certain she had to begin her own special studies or she'd fall behind. So, she began trying to preform magic. Every night, Fuu held her own special magic lessons. Slowly but surely, she began to be able to cause... things to happen. Another couple of years would pass with each new school year bringing an overwhelming sadness into the girl as she slowly realized that her hopes for going away from her busy life were nonexistent. Still, Fuu wasn't too sad. She didn't think of herself was weird or misplaced anymore. The girl was capable of preforming magic! Even if she didn't go to a fancy school for it, Fuu figured being a home schooled wizard was better than not being one at all!
When Fuu started middle school, she was given more freedom with her schedule. The girl had completed her mannerisms classes, and now as her course work was getting more difficult, her father believed she needed extra time to herself to study. Fuu certainly did use this time to study, but instead of staying in the school's library, she went to an empty warehouse a few blocks away to practice her magic. Sometimes during these lessons, beasts would appear. Fuu would manage to ward them off most of the time, but occasionally, she was forced to flee and wait a few days before returning. The girl would often find these brushes with deaths invigorating. Fuu, as she grew, had forgotten the memories of her younger self being chased through her old house by the monstrous spirit that pushed her mother off the roof.
As Fuu turned thirteen, strange things would begin to happen in her home once more. She could vaguely remember them occurring when Maria was pregnant with her brothers, but other than that, the girl had forgotten most of what happened when she was younger. Still, the events unnerved Fuu. She'd begin going to the school library and trying to look up information on poltergeists and other spiritual phenomenon. While she was doing this, Fuu caught the attention of a boy. He was curious about why she was doing that type of research. Fuu refused to speak to him about it, not wanting to admit to perhaps living in a haunted house. Despite how much she loved her own strange abilities, Fuu did work hard to keep up the appearance of a normal girl at her private school. So, she wound up leaving the books there, not wanting to further suspicion from the nosy boy.
That night, Fuu awoke to a hideous mask surrounded by inky blackness on the wall above her bed. The girl would scream and reach for her wand, but the figure vanished before she could do anything. Furthermore, she awoke the whole house and got scolded due to an excuse she gave. The next day at school, Fuu spoke to the boy, Elliot, who seemed to know a lot about hauntings. He revealed that he had been seeing them his whole life, to which Fuu casually agreed. Elliot seemed baffled that she didn't know much about them despite being similar to him. When she asked what kind of magic he could do, he seemed somewhat shocked. While he could read the memories of spirits and items, he couldn't do actual full force tricks like she could. Elliot was just a normal human who seemed to have been born with a large spiritual presence.
Later that week, after spending all of her free time with him, Elliot came over to her house to help heer investigate while her family was out at an event. Fuu had played sick to get out of going to show Elliot the house. The moment they entered the house, Elliot knew what was wrong. There was a hollow living there. He was quickly able to figure out the whole situation with the details Fuu provided and what he could see using his ability. The wardrobe in the attic was where the hollow was anchored too. Using his ability, he was able to tell that when the hollow was alive, it had hidden in there and watched Fuu's birth mother, Fuyuki. After it died, the hollow had returned to the wardrobe and continued watching them, becoming chained to it. After they had moved from the house, the hollow had waited in the wardrobe for them to return. When they finally did, it struck. After that, believing the love of his life to have left once more, the hollow waited in the wardrobe for Fuyuki to return. When Maria became pregnant, it remembered Fuyuki's pregnancy, which was why Fuu had noticed the strangeness in the house. After the twins were born, the hollow went into waiting again.
The reason the hollow was growing active again was because Fuu now closely resembled her mother. The hollow thought Fuu was Fuyuki. All this information spent Fuu's mind into a whirl wind. How could something like that be possible? To make matters worse, the hollow had noticed Elliot's presence. The spiritual pressure he gave off awakened the hunger within it's soul. The beast would roar, shaking the house. Fuu would pull out her wand, ready to try and defend herself. However, she had only ever used it for simple magic tricks and practice really. Even when hollows showed up during her practice, they were small. Not only that, but the roar of the hollow suddenly awakened the memories of being chased through her old home with her mother by the beast in the attic.
So, as Fuu froze up, Elliot suddenly passed out. Before she could properly freak out, a second Elliot appeared. Beyond confused, she thought he had died. However, Elliot would quickly explain he was able to leave his body to fight. He was something called a Substitute Soul Reaper. When the hollow began to emerge from the attic, he brandished a sword. Fuu would crouch down next to his unconscious human body, still unsure of what everything meant but unwilling to leave his body unprotected. Elliot would manage to subdue and slay the hollow, but not before wrecking the first floor of her house. Luckily, Fuu managed to convince her parents that someone had broken into the house and done it. Surprisingly, Maria and Shuu weren't upset. The whole family seemed a lot more... at peace. It was if a huge burden that had been weighing them all down was suddenly gone.
Elliot and Fuu soon became inseparable. They were the best of friends. He was the only person Fuu even had time to hang out with considering her busy schedule. By the time they entered high school together, the duo had become known as best friends throughout their school- as close as siblings! Meanwhile, by night, they would work together to defeat hollows. Fuu's skills and talents with her wand would grow more and more as Elliot was continuously baffled by her talents. Occasionally they'd run into another soul reaper, but Fuu never really spoke to them. For the most part they'd stare at her suspiciously or with worry. Still, for about two years, they fell into a comfortable rhythm of studying, fighting and getting stronger.
Around the end of her sophomore year, Fuu had found a young woman. She was a spirit of sorts, and the woman claimed she wanted to be purified so she could go to the Soul Society and be with her family. So, Fuu lead her to Elliot. She didn't think it though and didn't notice how strange it was that the soul was asking this... or that this stranger knew who Elliot was or that Fuu knew him. When she finally did, it was too late. The woman had revealed herself to be... something. Fuu wasn't sure what they were. Were they even a soul? They had claimed to be one, but to Fuu, souls and humans were almost always indistinguishable. In the following battle, Elliot lost his life and Fuu was badly injured.
Fuu's injuries were labeled as a hit and run. As she laid in the hospital, all the girl could do was slowly realize that she had killed her best friend. Over the course of the summer, her parents both talked heavily and decided that maybe it was time to move the family back to Japan. Maria wanted the kids to learn more about their heritage, and Shuu wanted to return to the main branch. He was growing tired of running the company from a side branch. Not only this, but Fuu's supposed hit and run made them concerned with how dangerous New York was. As such, after Fuu healed, the family returned to Japan. This time, they bought a large penthouse in a city called Karakura.
Fuu soon found herself being shown around the city and constantly going back and forth from other cities by her father. Most were amazed to see how the daughter of the beautiful Fuyuki turned out, and soon, Fuu's father requested she help represent the family at these events. She hadn't done them often in America because the family wasn't as well known there, but now, her father wanted her to help build their reputation. As such, Fuu became more of a show dog than a daughter. Shuu would use to show off to his competitors. He even had Fuu begin painting to claim her as an artist. She already knew how to play a couple of instruments from her lessons as a child as well, so Fuu soon became the poster child for the perfect heiress.
Meanwhile, she began to try and distance herself from the supernatural, having enough of it's influence in her life, especially after Elliot's sudden death. As such, Fuu, now in her senior year of high school, has managed to keep a reputation as a socialite with a bright future ahead of her.

| BATTLE SKILLS Name: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo Class: Soul Communication Tier: III Type: Defensive|Supplementary|Offensive Range: 50m Description: By pulling on the souls of molecules, Fuu can change the shape and or size of inanimate objects by spreading them out or compressing them. As she spreads them out, the item will become soft and sponge like, if stretched out long enough, it will become like sand and fall apart. If compressed to make it smaller, the item will become smaller and denser until it's as hard as diamonds. These objects cannot be spiritually connected to another character such as a Shinigami's Zanpakutou or a Quincy's weapon. As such, Fuu can turn a car into the size of a small defensive block, turn a bush into a large forest covering the range of her ability or turn the ground below herself and opponents into quick sand to dump them into the sewers below. She can also change, say, a food cart into a defensive wall by changing it's shape. Or, she can control a street lamp by turning it into a spear and having it swing towards an enemy.Changes made to items changed by the ability must be repaired either by another form of soul communication or Fuu herself. This makes her power especially destructive to the area while also making it easy to track her in combat. FULLBRING |
WITCH DIMENSIONAL Waving Her Wand | |
ITEM FORM A simple black wand
FULLBRING APPEARANCE The wand merely gains a soft yellow after glow as it moves about.
FULLBRING ABILITIES Name: Abracadabra Class: Fullbring Release Tier: III Type: Illusion Range: 100m in diameter Description: Using her wand, Fuu can summon illusions to fill the area. These illusions can effect up to two senses at any time and can be spread out over it's range. As these are illusions, they cannot touch Fuu's opponents nor can her opponents touch them. She can choose whom she shows these illusions to. Using these illusions, Fuu can create distractions, flash bombs and various other effects.
It should be known that the illusions are brought forward by her spreading her reiatsu out throughout the area in a thin cloud like mist. This allows for her to sense when others enter and disturb the reiatsu while allowing her to hide in the area. Her illusions last up to seven posts as during this time the reaitsu she filled the air with slowly returns to her and must be released again. However, this also allows those the ability to sense Reaitsu to very easily sense the general area she's in. Name: Open Sesame Class: Fullbring Release Tier: III Type: Dimensional Range: 100m in diameter Description: Using this ability, Fuu can cast a large smoke cloud over the area. When the cloud comes up, everyone within it will feel as if they're falling. Once it's cleared, everyone in the area will have been shuffled about including Fuu. This essentially allows for her to separate enemies and distract them. All she can do with this technique is move them. In reality, this release is simply opening portals around her victims through the smoke and dropping them in other places where the smoke is. Name: Hocus Pocus Class: Fullbring Release Tier: III Type: Dimensional Range: 100m in diameter Description: Using this skill, Fuu can make items appear and disappear. Fuu can use this on living beings as well, allowing her to teleport or summon people to her presence if they're within her range or teleport them away from her. She can also summon items in front of her or, once again, push them away from her or even move herself. Fuu cannot just make items or people vanish. They must reappear within the range of her skill. Items and individuals always appear and disappear within a cloud of smoke, like a magic trick.
Fuu can 'register' items into her wand by tapping on them three times to allow her to summon them with a specific wand waving from further distances. This only works on inanimate objects and willing living beings. She can also send them away, but only to where they originally were.
